All-Inclusive Dude Ranch Experience
Experience the ultimate Western adventure with UXU’s all-inclusive Dude Ranch Experience. Immerse yourself in the charm of Wyoming ranch life with 4 nights in our historic log cabins. As well, our chefs will prepare you with three hearty meals a day, ensuring a culinary journey that delights the senses. Interested in staying a little longer? Ask us about adding one additional night to the end of your existing reservation at our à la carte rates. Please note: additional nights must be consecutive to your current stay and are subject to availability.
With a focus on quality experiences, our ranch accommodates up to 53 guests, but we limit the weekly program to 17-25 guests to ensure personalized attention and a truly immersive experience. Join us for a 4-night journey into the traditional Western lifestyle, where every moment is filled with excitement and discovery. Please note, all-inclusive packages include lodging accommodations, in our historic cabins.
- Enjoy a Warm Welcome at our Meet-and-Greet Party: Start your stay with us on Sunday afternoon, where you’ll get acquainted with your fellow guests and learn about the exciting activities planned for the days ahead.
- Trail Riding: Experience the stunning Wyoming wilderness on horseback, with guided trail rides that take you through picturesque landscapes, river meadows and mountain trails.
- Due to the mountainous terrain, our trail rides are “nose to tail, walk /trot”. The scenery is breathtaking!
- 4 Nights of Comfortable Lodging: Relax in our cozy historical log cabins, designed to make you feel right at home, with breathtaking views just outside your window. Extend your stay an extra ‘al-la-carte’ day (see below).
- Delicious Meals: Enjoy 3 hearty and delicious meals each day, showcasing the best of Wyoming flavors and cuisine.
- Perhaps a Cooking Demo & Lesson? Join our own “Chef Romi” for a cooking demo and tasting on the main deck.
- White Water Rafting Adventure: Feel the thrill as you tackle the rapids (2+) on a guided white-water rafting excursion, as well as scenic drifts thru the canyons.
- Cody Night Rodeo: Immerse yourself in authentic Western culture with an exciting night at the Cody Night Rodeo. We’d love to have your kids “ride for the brand” and try for a Buckle in the calf scramble. (12 and under) This event ends on August 31st, another activity will be scheduled.
- Guided Day Trip to Yellowstone National Park: Explore one of the world’s most iconic natural wonders with a knowledgeable guide, showing you the park’s breathtaking beauty and wildlife.
- Blue Ribbon Trout Fishing: Try your hand at fishing with easy access to some of the best trout fishing in the area (unguided, but simple and scenic!).
- Hiking: Hit the trails and enjoy the spectacular Wyoming scenery, whether you’re seeking a casual stroll or a more challenging adventure.
- Nightly Entertainment: Gather on the lodge’s main deck for music and fascinating Western history chats to wind down your day.
- Campfire & S’mores: Each night, cozy up around the campfire and enjoy the crackling fire, starry skies, and the sweet treat of homemade s’mores.
- Kids’ Programs & Games: Our youngest guests will have a blast with a variety of fun activities designed just for them, campfires & Smores each night, roping, star gazing with our scopes, identify wild aimal tracks & cast their prints, and your little ones will love testing their skills at our BB gun range, a fun and safe activity for all ages.. including adults. - Wildlife & Scenic Views: Experience wildlife right at your doorstep and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, just 17 miles from Yellowstone National Park.
- Wifi is available in the main lodge 24 hours per day, as well as selected coverage in some cabins.
Extended Stay – A La Carte

Well , if you’re not quite ready to ride off into the sunset, we’ve got just the thing for you. Add an extra night to your stay with our “A La Carte” program — it’s as easy as sittin’ ‘round a campfire.
You’ll stay put in your same cozy cabin and just pay for the cabin rate for Thursday night (click HERE to see our A La Carte Cabin rates). Then you can pick and choose the meals and trail rides you want — no need to pay for what you don’t use. Plus, we’ve teamed up with some local outfitters to offer you special deals on extra adventures!
Whats still included? Our scenic hiking trails, peaceful self-guided fishing, or kick back on the UXU Lodge deck with a good book and let the mountains do the talking… and don’t forget those nightly fires — perfect for swappin’ stories and makin’ memories and some incredible star gazing! Please note a 15% service fee as well as taxes/USFS fees will be added to all packages. Service fees goes towards the care expenses of our horses we use for our guests. This includes vets, feed, farrier, and other essential care for the horses. All-inclusive rates do not include alcohol. Currency rates are in $ USD.

Sunday Check-In 4 PM
Upon your arrival, Sunday afternoon, our Certified Wranglers will match you and introduce you to your horse that you will ride during your stay. They will guide you through wilderness at a pace that is comfortable and designed for your riding ability. Most of our trail rides are at a walk-in pace.

Since joining the UXU in late 2024, Chef Romi has elevated our culinary experience by blending Western luxury cuisine with the timeless favorites our guests return for year after year. Inspired by what cowboys and ranchers enjoyed over the last hundred years, Chef Romi honors that heritage while bringing a modern, refined fusion to every plate.
Our weekly menus feature slow cooked Prime Rib, hand cut Rib Eye steaks, Porterhouse pork chops, Roasted Garlic Lemon Chicken, and wild Alaskan Salmon. Each entrée is thoughtfully paired with Chef’s famous sides, including locally sourced asparagus, seasonal grilled vegetables, creamy mashed potatoes, potato gratin, and rotating seasonal accompaniments that celebrate what is freshest and most flavorful.
Most meals are served inside our historic Main Lodge, where the warmth of the ranch comes alive around the table. But do not be surprised to find yourself dining outdoors on the deck, surrounded by breathtaking Wyoming scenery and the easy camaraderie of fellow guests.
Our in house pastry chef prepares fresh artisan breads daily along with house made desserts that bring a memorable finish to every meal.
We proudly source fresh, organic, and local ingredients whenever possible. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available. Please let us know in advance of your stay and we will gladly accommodate most dietary needs, including other dietary restrictions.

Our bar is fully stocked with an excellent selection of craft beers, fine wines, and unique local specialty drinks, offering something for every taste. Unwind with your favorite drink, and enjoy the relaxed, rustic atmosphere that makes The UXU Ranch so special. For a little extra fun, head into our rodeo room, where you may enjoy live music on our piano, creating lasting memories with friends, family, and fellow guests.
