No visit to Wyoming is complete without experiencing the legendary Cody Nite Rodeo. Cody proudly carries the title of “Rodeo Capital of the World,” a tradition dating back more than a century to the founding of the Cody Stampede Rodeo in 1919. Today, Cody remains the only place in America where you can experience a rodeo every summer night, making it one of Wyoming’s most unforgettable attractions.
After an early ranch dinner, we’ll head to the arena for an evening filled with world-class bull riding, saddle bronc and bareback riding, barrel racing, team roping, and all the excitement of authentic Western competition.
As a UXU Ranch guest, you’ll enjoy experiences not available to the general public, including an exclusive behind-the-chutes tour, where you’ll get up close to the rough stock, meet the cowboys, and witness the organized excitement that happens before the grand entry. It’s a rare opportunity to experience rodeo from the inside.
Young cowboys and cowgirls (ages 12 and under) are also invited to “Ride for the Brand” by participating in the crowd-favorite Calf Scramble, with a chance to win their very own rodeo buckle—a memory they’ll treasure forever.
Whether it’s your first rodeo or your fiftieth, an evening under the arena lights is an unforgettable celebration of the American West and one of the highlights of your stay at UXU Ranch.
Please note: The Cody Nite Rodeo season concludes on August 31. Guests arriving after this date will enjoy an alternate Western evening experience selected by the ranch.
