Cody Nite Rodeo: A Tradition of Western Excellence
Cody, Wyoming, proudly holds the title of “Rodeo Capital of the World,” a distinction earned through over a century of rodeo history and celebration. Since the early 1900s, rodeos and parades have been integral to Cody’s 4th of July festivities, embodying the town’s rich Western heritage. This enduring tradition officially began in 1919 with the establishment of the Cody Stampede Rodeo, an event that has grown into one of the most iconic and celebrated rodeos in the United States.
