Experience the Beauty of The UXU Ranch with Public Trail Rides
Join us on weekends for public trail rides and explore the stunning scenery that surrounds The UXU Ranch. Our experienced DRA CERTIFIED wranglers will guide you through the picturesque landscapes that border the ranch, offering a unique perspective of this beautiful area.
Trail rides are available from Friday through Sunday, and most Wednesdays, with options for 1-hour rides priced at $65 and 2-hour rides priced at $115. Immerse yourself in nature and enjoy a memorable trail riding experience at The UXU Ranch. Customized rides are available upon request. Please contact us for further information.

Weight Limit for riders: 250 lbs.
Many times, we sell out well in advance of your scheduled trail ride. In the event you cancel your ride, a refund of 100% of your payment up until April 1st of the current year will be issued & otherwise we offer a rescheduled trail ride, subject to availability, during the current year & season.
In the event of excessive rain or lightning we will do our best to contact you before you arrive and offer a refund or reschedule. Rain during the ride is not a condition for cancelation or refund unless conditions are extreme.
Please note we have a weight limit of 250 pounds.
The UXU Ranch requires an activity waiver to be signed for all actives participated at while at The UXU Ranch.

The availability of activities is subject to change due to conditions outside of The UXU’s control, such as natural disasters, inclement weather, wildfires, flooding, etc.

Rider Assessment for Safety & Enjoyment
Rider Assessments
At UXU Ranch, we prioritize safety and the well-being of our riders and horses. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we require all riders to undergo a riding assessment. This assessment is conducted daily and evaluates the following criteria:
1. Ability to ride at a controlled walk or trot, maintaining a safe distance behind the horse in front.
2. Proper riding position in a western saddle, including correct handling of reins, hands, seat, and feet.
3. Ability to follow instructions and effectively cue the horse.
These assessments are designed to ensure that all riders are comfortable and capable of participating in our rides safely.
