There is a queen size bed outfitted in western decor and personal bathroom off the bedroom. The covered deck outside the front door is shared with the Clark and provides one of the favorite unobstructed views of the horses grazing in the pasture and the rock face prominent in the nearby mountains.
Running along side the cabin is a small stream, one of the tributaries of June creek, giving a background noise that soothes the soul. The duplex is located not far from the Main Lodge, but is separated by a grove of trees so although you are in close proximity to the many amenities offered by the UXU Ranch, while still having some feeling of seclusion from the group. The Lewis and Clark duplex cabin is perfect for the a larger group who come together but would still prefer to enjoy some of their own space.
The Lewis is named after the great explorer and American Pioneer, Merriweather Lewis who, teaming with William Clark, contributed much to the westward expansion of America. The documentation of their two year journey aided in the education of Americans to come west and prosper among the abundant wildlife and foliage the area has to offer.
